DrupalCon Amsterdam 2014

As you probably already know, I just started working as developer advocate for DigitalOcean. This week I went to my first DrupalCon, also the first conference I'm participating as a sponsor! I had such an amazing time there, meeting awesome people and spreading the word about Digital Ocean <3.

As you probably already know, I just started working as developer advocate for DigitalOcean. This week I went to my first DrupalCon, also the first conference I'm participating as a sponsor! I had such an amazing time there, meeting awesome people and spreading the word about DigitalOcean <3.

I was really happy to see a very diverse set of talks, going much beyond Drupal - 9 tracks (!!!) including subjects like UX, DevOps, design patterns, DDD and TDD... Definitely a conference to look for, even if you are not used to Drupal, which happens to be my case.

I also had the great pleasure to meet for the first time awesome people like Cal Evans (I even recorded a podcast with him) and Emma Jane. It was really nice to get some insights about the Drupal community too.

In the last day of sessions, I had the pleasure to organize with John Edgar a special treat for the attendees: FREE ICE CREAM! 'nuff said, right?

Thanks DrupalCon for having us. See you next year!
